Time to post again!

Hello Spring Break!!


It's time to post again. This past week, I have been working two projects.


I visited some blogs and was inspired by a couple of them. Thanks Thienly for your blog's main picture, I absolutely love it.  I have a passion for flowers and paper, and as soon as I saw how you can combine them,  I got to work. When I was in Spain, I saw these rose promenades and wondered how they were made. Now with internet, you just have to google it and "voilá" a tutorial shows up!

Supplies are simple, Styrofoam ball from Michaels, Crepe Paper from WalMart, ribbon from my stash and hot glue gun to put everything together.

My second project this week was a "Get Well" card for our little friend Malia.  She is not feeling to good and we are praying for her to feel better and leave the hospital.  She loves to dance, so my boys suggested this Tilda stamp from Magnolia Fairy Tale Collection. 

Supplies:

Card/Paper: Card paper is Bazzill Basics, background paper from American Craft, polka dot paper is from Christy Lyle's Countdown to Christmas Collection.

Stamps:  Ballerina Tilda from Magnolia Fairy Tale Collection, JustRite alphabet stamps.

Coloring: Copics (R00, R22, R27, B000, E000, E02, R20, E11, E13), Gelly Roll Stardust clear glitter pen

Embellishments: Ribbon, Recollection flowers, Charm, Paper Studio's Gemstones

Tools: MS border punch,  cuttlebug, nestabilities, cricut for inside sentiment frame.
